Manuscript Submission

Manuscript Preparation and Submission Guidelines

The papers of the ISFNT-13 will be published in a special edition of the International Journal “Fusion Engineering and Design” edited by Elsevier after a peer review. The entire submission and review process of this journal is handled electronically using the Elsevier Editorial System (EES). For this reason all the authors of the papers accepted for the ISFNT conference have to do an extra registration to this electronic editorial system that differs from the ISFNT-13 database used for the abstract submission. Of course only the papers corresponding to the accepted abstracts will be taken into consideration for the publication process.

All papers should be submitted electronically through http://www.ees.elsevier/com/fusengdes/default.asp from June 25 to 15 November, 2017. Authors submit their papers online by simply registering, logging on and submitting. For this special edition of “Fusion Engineering and Design”, the special issue (“Proceedings of ISFNT-13”) and the name of the Guest Editor (Dr. Seungyon Cho) should be indicated.

All correspondence, including notification of the editor's decision and requests for revisions, is done by e-Mail and via the Author's homepage, removing the need for hard copy.

Instruction and assistance for the on-line submission is available at the conference web site http://www.isfnt-13.org. The submitted manuscripts have to be written in English, and should bear the name(s) and full affiliation(s) of the author(s) as well as the mailing address, phone and fax numbers, and e-Mail address of the corresponding author.

The length of the contributed paper (poster and oral) is up to 5 journal pages. If you want to write more than 5 journal pages (up to 8 journal pages), you will have to pay the extra charge of $200/page (two hundred US dollars per each extra journal page).

The length of the invited paper is up to 8 journal pages. If you want to write more than 8 journal pages (up to 10 journal pages), you will have to pay the extra charge of $200/page (two hundred US dollars per each extra journal page).

You may use the paper template (in Wordformat) to ensure you meet the page limits.

Please note that the journal is printed in black and white, no colors.

Submission of Manuscripts via EES :

On that page, select the item “submit paper” from the links at the top of the page.
Enter your existing EES username and password and click “Author Login”. If you do not presently have an EES account, create one at this time by clicking “Register Now”.
